Revocable Trust Attorney, Massachusetts

Revocable Trusts are designed to avoid Probate on such assets as real estate, cash assets, and non-retirement investment assets. The client is in control of a revocable Trust and can change or amend the Trust. A revocable Trust does not protect assets from long term care costs. Revocable Trusts differ from other trusts in the way that the Donor has the ability to change named beneficiaries at any time for any reason. Additionally, the Donor is able to revoke or amend the trust in whole or in part as opposed to an Irrevocable Trust which cannot be changed, revoked, or amended.

When looking for a Revocable Trust Attorney it is important to understand that when it comes to the potential of long term care expenses for a loved senior, it is imperative to find an Attorney that will protect the hard-earned assets of that senior. Only specific types of Trusts are exclusively protected from a senior’s assets being counted toward their eligibility for long term care expenses.

Falco & Associates, P.C. offers Revocable Trusts that protect assets once the five year “look back” period has passed. Additionally, upon the death of the Donor, the liquid asset(s) are passed to the named beneficiaries without the need of a Probate Court.
