Our Story
Since 2001, the firm has expanded from its Quincy home office to offices in Arlington, Danvers, Framingham and Hyannis, MA and has serviced over 10,000 client matters. The attorneys working at the Firm have over 150 years of collective legal experience in Estate Planning, Elder Law, general practice, finance, real estate, divorce and family law. In addition, one of our attorneys served as the past President of the Massachusetts chapter of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA).
Currently, Falco & Associates, P.C. exclusively practices Estate Planning & Elder Law and is an advocate for families all across the greater Boston area, the North and South Shore and Cape Cod. Falco & Associates, P.C., and its’ ancillary business, Senior Resource Center, Inc. frequently provides educational programs to related professionals such as Norwell and South Shore VNA, Mystic Valley Elder Services and Cape Cod Hospital—among many others. The Firm regularly contributes to panel discussions for groups and companies and appears in various industry publications. In addition, our attorneys remain committed to the community and are active in many non-profit organizations and charities.
Our Attorneys

Anthony S. Falco, Esq.
Managing Partner
Anthony S. Falco has been a lawyer in Massachusetts since the 1980s and started the law firm over 30 years ago in 1990. He came to specialize in matters affecting the elderly and in 2000 founded Senior Resource Center, Inc., an ancillary business of Falco & Associates, P.C. He is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys Inc. (NAELA), a Charter Board member of the NAELA Seniors Rights Political Action Committee, former member of the MA-Chapter Public Policy Committee, a former board member of Lawyers Concerned for Lawyers (LCL), previous Finance Director and Treasurer to Timothy P. Cahill (former Treasurer of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts), Trustee of the Storella Education Trust and Co-Founder of The Bo Foundation.
Mr. Falco is a Finance degree honors graduate of Suffolk University and holds a Juris Doctor degree from the Stetson University College of Law in Florida. Mr. Falco’s non legal interests and activities include owning and managing residential and commercial real estate, coaching and or managing various youth sports teams, maintaining physical fitness through nutrition and exercise and being actively involved with many charities, mostly focused on addiction and recovery. He is married and the father of six children and five grandchildren.

Ronald R. Kearns, R.N., Esq.
Partner
Ronald R. Kearns graduated from Fitchburg State College Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing in 1985. He graduated with Honors from Suffolk University Law School in 1991 and has practiced Estate Planning, Real Estate, Medical/Legal and Elder Law since then. Ron is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, Inc., (NAELA). He is also an elder law attorney with Falco & Associates, P.C. since 2004.
As a nurse attorney, Mr. Kearns brings a unique focus to Elder Law, advising on care needs and developing the Estate and Medicaid Plan based on those needs. He shares his expertise in each of his respective Fields by offering complimentary CEU presentations for Elder Care Professionals.
Mr. Kearns is married and the father of two children.

Kevin Spitz, Esq.
Attorney
Kevin Spitz has been a lawyer in Massachusetts since 1990 and has practiced law with Falco & Associates, P.C. since 1997. He is a Bachelor of Arts graduate of Eisenhower College and holds a Juris Doctor degree from Suffolk University Law School.
Kevin is also an employee of Senior Resource Center, Inc. and is a Mass Health Benefits Expert. Simultaneously to practicing law, Mr. Spitz was a Firefighter with the Scituate MA Fire department and retired in 2013.
Kevin is married and the father of three children.

Paul E. Thornhill, Esq.
Attorney
Paul Thornhill has been a lawyer in Massachusetts since 2002. After serving three years in the U.S. Army, he graduated from the University of Arizona with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and holds a Juris Doctorate from the New England School of Law.
Paul joined Falco & Associates, P.C. in 2004. He is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, Inc. (NAELA) as well as the Massachusetts Chapter of NAELA, and counsel’s seniors and their families on Estate and Medicaid Planning, Probate Law and Asset Preservation.
Paul is married and the father of two boys.

Patricia G. Novak, Esq.
Attorney
Patricia G. Novak has been a practicing attorney since 1992. After graduating from Boston College in 1987, Patricia obtained her Juris Doctorate from Suffolk University School of Law.
Patricia joined Falco & Associates, P.C. in 2007. She was formerly on the Board of Directors at DOVE, Inc., a domestic violence prevention agency and is a member of the Norfolk County Bar Association.
Patricia is also a member of the National Association of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA), as well as the Massachusetts chapter of NAELA and counsel’s seniors and their families on Estate and Medicaid Planning, Probate Law and Asset Preservation.
Patricia is married and the mother of two daughters.

Judith M. Flynn, Esq., CELA*
Attorney
Judy owned her own practice on the South Shore from 2004 until 2016, when she joined the team at Falco & Associates, P.C., where she continues to advocate for elders and their families in all aspects of elder law, estate planning and special needs planning.
Judy currently serves on the Board of Directors of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA) and served as President of its Massachusetts Chapter (MassNAELA) in 2014. She is active in public policy and litigation efforts at the state and national level, currently serving as Co-Chair of NAELA’s State Advocates Committee, working to advocate for the rights of seniors and individuals with special needs. Judy served two terms as President of the Massachusetts Guardianship Association (MGA), in 2010 and 2011.
She was honored as a “Top Woman of Law” by Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly, and has received numerous other professional awards and designations such as New England Super Lawyer (2012-2020); MassNAELA President’s Award (2013, 2016); and the National Guardianship Association’s Outstanding Affiliate Member Award (2010).
Judy and her husband, Bill, live in Hingham and have three children.
* Certified as an Elder Law Attorney (CELA) by the non-profit National Elder Law Foundation, (NELF), the only national organization accredited by the American Bar Association (ABA) to offer certification to attorneys in the specialization of elder law. The Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court (SJC) does not recognize legal specialties for certification.

Meghan S. Huber
Attorney
Prior to joining Falco & Associates, P.C., Meghan spent five years working for Greenfield Planning Group LLC where she was a law clerk and associate attorney. Meghan assists families on Probate and Estate Planning items and advises families on the intricacies of the Medicaid/MassHealth process.
Meghan lives in her hometown of Marshfield with her long-term partner, Matt. She enjoys reading, baking, practicing yoga, going to the beach and watching documentaries outside of work.
Our Staff

Scott Campbell
Director of Operations
In addition to his work with F&A, Scott is also the Director of Operations for our ancillary company, Senior Resource Center, Inc. where he acts as a community outreach liaison and marketing coordinator for local ASAP’s, rehabilitation facilities and VNA’s. Scott is very active in the community and sits on several boards for the City of Quincy. He is a member of the Quincy Parks Conservancy, Chairman of the Community Preservation Commission and is a Board member for the Quincy Housing Authority. Scott also co-founded the QHS/NQHS Alumni Football Group in 2014—where Alumni from both schools play in a charity flag football game in the fall and a charity golf tournament every spring. The money raised through these events go directly back to the football programs. Scott is also the Treasurer for the Quincy College Trust in Quincy.
Scott has a degree in Legal-Education from UMass and lives in Quincy with his wife Julie and two daughters.

Joanne lives in Braintree and has 2 children, Aiden and Addison.

Lisa lives in Dedham with her husband Tom and is active in many community projects.

Angela McDonald joined Falco & Associates, P.C. in 2020 after graduating from UMass Amherst with a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and Legal Studies. She moved to Denver, Colorado in 2022 and continues to assist with scholarship coordination and administration.
