Our Story

Since 2001, the firm has expanded from its Quincy home office to offices in Danvers, Framingham, Hyannis, and Lexington MA and has serviced over 10,000 client matters. The attorneys working at the Firm have over 150 years of collective legal experience in Estate Planning, Elder Law, general practice, finance, real estate, divorce and family law. In addition, one of our attorneys served as the past President of the Massachusetts chapter of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA).

Currently, Falco & Associates, P.C. exclusively practices Estate Planning & Elder Law and is an advocate for families all across the greater Boston area, the North and South Shore and Cape Cod. Falco & Associates, P.C., and its’ ancillary business, Senior Resource Center, Inc. frequently provides educational programs to related professionals such as Norwell and South Shore VNA, Mystic Valley Elder Services and Cape Cod Hospital—among many others. The Firm regularly contributes to panel discussions for groups and companies and appears in various industry publications. In addition, our attorneys remain committed to the community and are active in many non-profit organizations and charities.

Anthony S Falco Esq

Anthony S. Falco, Esq.

Managing Partner

Anthony S. Falco has been a lawyer in Massachusetts since the 1980s and started the law firm over 30 years ago in 1990. He came to specialize in matters affecting the elderly and in 2000 founded Senior Resource Center, Inc., an ancillary business of Falco & Associates, P.C. He is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys Inc. (NAELA), a Charter Board member of the NAELA Seniors Rights Political Action Committee, former member of the MA-Chapter Public Policy Committee, a former board member of Lawyers Concerned for Lawyers (LCL), previous Finance Director and Treasurer to Timothy P. Cahill (former Treasurer of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts), Trustee of the Storella Education Trust and Co-Founder of The Bo Foundation.

Mr. Falco is a Finance degree honors graduate of Suffolk University and holds a Juris Doctor degree from the Stetson University College of Law in Florida. Mr. Falco’s non legal interests and activities include owning and managing residential and commercial real estate, coaching and or managing various youth sports teams, maintaining physical fitness through nutrition and exercise and being actively involved with many charities, mostly focused on addiction and recovery. He is married and the father of six children and five grandchildren.

Ronald R Kearns RN Esq

Ron graduated from Fitchburg State College with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. He has been a Registered Nurse for the better part of 39 years both in medical-surgical as well as community health nursing.  Ron graduated with honors from Suffolk University Law School in 1991 and has been a practicing attorney for 33 years concentrating in Elder Law, Asset Preservation and Estate Planning for the last 20 years.  He is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys and the Massachusetts Bar Association.

Ron serves as the Chairperson on the Compliance Committee of the Norwell VNA & Hospice.  He also is active at his Church chairing both the Stewardship and Finance Committees.

Ron utilizes both his nursing and legal backgrounds to help clients devise custom Estate and Medicaid plans.  He educates professionals on the complex subjects of Medicaid regulations and planning and the importance of advocating for seniors and the disabled.Professionally, Ron also serves as a Trustee on many private as well as charitable Trusts.

Ron and his wife, Karen, have two adult children and he lives on the South Shore. Their son, Rob, is a climate specialist at the Charles River Watershed Association and is passionate about the environment.  Their daughter, Lauren, is a new RN on a medical-surgical floor at Brigham & Women’s Hospital.  Ron enjoys boating, physical fitness, sports, reading, and spending time with his family.

Kevin Spitz has been a lawyer in Massachusetts since 1990 and has practiced law with Falco & Associates, P.C. since 1997. He is a Bachelor of Arts graduate of Eisenhower College and holds a Juris Doctor degree from Suffolk University Law School.

Kevin is also an employee of Senior Resource Center, Inc. and is a Mass Health Benefits Expert. Simultaneously to practicing law, Mr. Spitz was a Firefighter with the Scituate MA Fire department and retired in 2013.

Kevin is married and the father of three children.

Paul E Thornhill Esq

Paul Thornhill has been a lawyer in Massachusetts since 2002. After serving three years in the U.S. Army, he graduated from the University of Arizona with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and holds a Juris Doctorate from the New England School of Law.

Paul joined Falco & Associates, P.C. in 2004. He is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, Inc. (NAELA) as well as the Massachusetts Chapter of NAELA, and counsel’s seniors and their families on Estate and Medicaid Planning, Probate Law and Asset Preservation.

Paul is married and the father of two boys.

Patricia G Novak Esq

Patricia G. Novak has been a practicing attorney since 1992. After graduating from Boston College in 1987, Patricia obtained her Juris Doctorate from Suffolk University School of Law.

Patricia joined Falco & Associates, P.C. in 2007. She was formerly on the Board of Directors at DOVE, Inc., a domestic violence prevention agency and is a member of the Norfolk County Bar Association.

Patricia is also a member of the National Association of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA), as well as the Massachusetts chapter of NAELA and counsel’s seniors and their families on Estate and Medicaid Planning, Probate Law and Asset Preservation.

Patricia is married and the mother of two daughters.

Judith M Flynn Esq CELA

Attorney and Shareholder

Attorney Judith M. Flynn, CELA is a shareholder in Falco & Associates, PC and its ancillary business, Senior Resource Center, Inc. Judy represents elders and their families in all aspects of elder law and estate planning, with an emphasis on assisting clients to obtain public care benefits to remain safely in the community, or to cover nursing home care when necessary. She currently serves as Vice President of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA) and will begin serving a one-year term as President of NAELA beginning June 1st. Judy served as co-chair of NAELA’s State Advocacy Committee for several years, connecting NAELA members and chapters across the country to collaborate in advocating for the rights of older adults and people with disabilities. She served as president of MassNAELA in 2014 and as President of the Massachusetts Guardianship Association (MGA) in 2010 and 2011. Judy was honored as a “Top Woman of Law” by Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly and has received numerous other professional awards, including Massachusetts “Super Lawyer” in Elder Law (2013–23), the MassNAELA President’s Award (2013 and 2016), and the 2022 Deborah H Thompson Advocacy Award from MassNAELA.  Judy is one of approximately 30 certified elder law attorneys in Massachusetts.

Attorney Meghan S. Huber joined the firm in 2023 as an associate attorney for Falco & Associates, P.C. Meghan attended Salve Regina University where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Administration of Justice. She went on to receive her Juris Doctor at New England School of Law and has been an attorney since 2019.

Prior to joining Falco & Associates, P.C., Meghan spent five years working for Greenfield Planning Group LLC where she was a law clerk and associate attorney. Meghan assists families on Probate and Estate Planning items and advises families on the intricacies of the Medicaid/MassHealth process.

Meghan lives in her hometown of Marshfield with her long-term partner, Matt. She enjoys reading, baking, practicing yoga, going to the beach and watching documentaries outside of work.

Office Manager

Joanne joined Falco & Associates, P.C. in 2006. She started as the front receptionist and fielded all calls and scheduling. In 2011 Joanne was promoted to Office Manager for both companies. In 2018 our receptionist left the companies to pursue a new career and Joanne took over still managing the office while the front reception as well. Prior to joining Falco & Associates, P.C., Joanne worked for Peabody Construction Company for 7 years and was a Nanny for a family for over 10 years.

Joanne lives in Braintree and has 2 children, Aiden and Addison.

Finance Manager

Lisa joined Falco & Associates, P.C. in 2010 as Finance Manager and handles the day to day cash flow management and benefits administrator of the company. Prior to joining the Firm, Lisa worked for Community Health Charities as the Finance/Office Manager. Lisa also works part-time for the New England Hemophilia Association as their Bookkeeper. Lisa has a degree in Accounting for Newbury College.

Lisa lives in Dedham with her husband Tom and is active in many community projects.

Kellie joined Falco & Associates, P.C. in 2018 and assists with all aspects of the estate planning process. Prior to joining Falco & Associates, P.C., Kellie worked in law firms specializing Divorce and Family Law and Insurance Defense. She obtained her paralegal certificate from Boston University in 2013.

Lorena Berry joined Falco & Associates, P.C. as a paralegal in 2020. Prior to joining Falco & Associates, P.C., Lorena worked in law firms specializing in Divorce and Family Law and Real Estate Law. She obtained her Paralegal Certificate from Stonehill College in 2006. She lives in Abington with her husband, Michael, and her two children.

Paralegal and Office Assistant

Christina joined Falco & Associates, P.C. in 2022. Prior to joining Falco & Associates, P.C., Christina worked in Event Planning and as an Office Manager. She graduated from University of New Hampshire in 2019 with a Bachelor’s degree in Recreation Management and Policy: Program and Event Management.

She grew up in Quincy and lives nearby with her boyfriend, Adam.

Scholarship Administrator

Angela McDonald joined Falco & Associates, P.C. in 2020 after graduating from UMass Amherst with a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and Legal Studies. She moved to Denver, Colorado in 2022 and continues to assist with scholarship coordination and administration.
